Who says Heelys Evolution are hard to find, I just snagged a new pair off the US amazon.com website, and a spare pair of new big deuce wheels Very Happy

And they still have some Size 9 and size 7s in stock Very Happy

I have a problem tho, I think I may have a Heely-buying obsession.

Today I have spent:

$60 on some big Reflex's with the 41mm large abec-7 688 fats wheel
$6 on shipping

$96 US dollars on four sets of Buccaneer FATS
$6 on a wheel bag
$10 on local shipping

$40 on the spare pair of brand new big Deuces
$30 for the overseas shipping

$100 on the new evo's
$35 on overseas shipping

that's a total of:

$383 Dollars...

...just for today... Surprised

oops Embarassed

I think I better hide my bank cards for a while, before this new interest makes me bankrupt lol.

Oh, and I also managed some new tricks for the very first time: Reverts, and Backwards shuffling. Still very rough on these - can't do them very well and sometimes i fall, but at least I actually managed each of them a f ew times today without stepping - which makes it all seem worth it Very Happy

LAWL, can't blame a girl for trying eh? Very Happy Well, I think the FBI would come round my house if I just started sending you money for no reason lol, but maybe if it was like your birthday or something I might be allowed to send a little something hehe.

Yeah, sorry about that, have been thinking of changing it . . .

Well I know they're rare now so they might be impossible to find in the future, and I wouldn't want to have missed my only chance to try them, and if i DID like them, I'd hate it if I my pair wore out and I didn't have a spare pair. . . I like to plan ahead Smile Of course, if I don't like them, I'm sure someone else would be happy to buy them Smile

And may I take this opportunity to say:
w00t!

I've been wondering if BDs are less prone to picking up pebbles, or stopping on them in the first place? Putting in better bearings is easy enough as long as it's a coin axle, or just get the tool needed if it's a c-clip axle. Do people complain about BDs because of the bearings, or is there something else about them that causes them to be slower?

They're porous and relatively soft.

They're not soft as in actually SOFT- they're solid to the touch- but when you put your full weight on them, they deform a bit, worse than regular Megas. Guaranteed to waste energy and kill your speed.

Slicer is right on that one with the speed loss, but in my opinion, if you're just looking for a leasurely roll, BD's attract less pebbles and are easier to swerve around in... I love BD's for street skaing and Megas for vert stuff

Ditto.

Just adding -

MW > BD > MV for malls and stuff.
BD > MW > MV for street and stuff.
MV > MW > BD for ramps and stuff.

Interesting. So maybe trying to get a pair of BDs for when I'm rolling in the streets and sidewalks couldn't hurt? I don't think I'll ever get pair of MVs, though, since they appear to be pro-team only. If they hit retail, I'd get them just 'cus. Smile

Thanks guys! Smile

I have three pairs of Heelys, all Mega sized wheel wells. I was not planning to get a pair of Evos, since I already have Torch. My plan was to hopefully find a pair of spare Big Deuce wheels for more wheel options.

Being a flatlanding little girl DOES have its advantages.
