I am so mad right now. There was a half-pipe in my town, but someone burned a part of it, and made a hole, but I guess there wasn't enough money in the budget to repair it or something so they just took it away. . . so I now drive 11 miles to the next town to use the half-pipe there.
Anyway, just yesterday I was there trying to learn grinds and practising going backwards a bit better, and some lads came along and they were ok at first, but then they found a big mallet, and started to smash up the pipe with it. They broke off one of the safety rails that stops you falling off the back onto the concrete, and I heard them say they plan to break two more rails every day.
So, I took the mallet off them and handed it in to the manager at the nearby centre that manages the skate-park area, but now I'm gonna have to watch my back all the time because these ****s will probably try to cause more trouble now they have a grudge - but what could I do? |

| Tell the cops? You should have took the burnt half pipe and try fixing it and have it at ur house (Might not be able to be fixed cant tell from the words) |

hehe, it's a little too large to fit in the boot of my car, and although I go to the gym I don't think I'm quite able to bench that weight yet  |

Just imagine waking up to this.... TWICE!!
sad thing is... the kids who started the fires were ones that skated the park on the regular and were disgruntled because a staffer kicked them out for being disorderly. Good thing the city stepped up and stepped up BIG. They added this on the 2nd rebuild....

Thats the thing I like about Colorado Springs...
Usually its the government that tears down parks, so most of them around here are privately owned (which is why they are usually tiny and geared towards skateboarding).
But the most vandalism we have around here is some retards who dump sodas all over the rails... It sucks cause if you don't know, you'll be skating and then catch on the sticky spot... The reason I call them retards is because they do it right before it rains XD
...And the fact that the skateboarders will kick their ass |

| Weird, thought with the US being big on skating they'd have more parks? We seem to be talking about two different kinds of "skate park" tho: I've never seen one as big as those even on the pics above, but then again I've never really looked for one yet. . . we just have small local/public ones. Here the parks are much smaller than anything seen on youtube, such as the ones H2 uses in her hybrid skating vids - we have nothing like that near here, just public ones usually out in the open in various states of decay and not smooth enough for heelies. To get to a fully-fledged skating place like the ones seen on the youtube vids I probably would have to go like 50 miles and pay money to get in, I don't know, might have to look into it when I am good enough. |

| the ones hailey uses in her vids are the 40 mins away one shes referring to, for me a park like that is in northern florida which is about 4-5 horus away. |
