Hello all heelers!
im new on this site but i have been using heelys now for 4 years. (im 24years old)
problem is that i seem to be the only one in sweden that knows about heelys and thats not so weird as skateboarding is realy bigg and that no stores even can import heelys when i ask for it Sad

thats why i was going to see if i can start a cop with a skate store in town and the new skate hall to start a new heely team or something in sweden to get the intrest up... what you all think? is that a good idea or is it a blow in the air and wont get anny intrest?

would heely themself be intrested in sponsoring me with help and suport for starting this or will i be all on my own??

my next question wher do you buy cheap heelys from as i cant find anny stores in whole sweden that have it Sad

If you can't find any heelys there, you can't get them unless you ship them from somewhere else. The best thing you can do is get good at heeling, put vids up, and skate around Sweden to raise interest.

whell thats why i was going to try get a work togheter with some store here and maybe heelys to get it working Smile

I don't know HSL that well, but I'd be surprised if they sponsored you without seeing what you can do. They don't need/want someone making Heelys look bad. Not saying you would, of course, but they'd want someone making Heelys look the best that it can. You're probably going to have to get some Heelys yourself and then get some video of you heeling around and impressing people. If you can show that you would be an asset to their company from a PR standpoint, then they might want to work something out with you.

As with most things in this world, it's all about the money. If you can generate interest in Heelys in Sweden such that people are asking stores to get Heelys to sell, and stores start contacting HSL to set up retail contracts, then Heelys will be a happy company. Unfortunately, that can be a chicken/egg problem. Wink

In any case, I think it's a great idea to try to generate interest in Heelys anywhere, and the only way to get started is to just do it. Get some Heelys, heel around and show off in public, and see what happens. Smile

They dont sell them here and everyone likes asking where I bought them.

I only know of 1 other girl that has them but she has those fake ones. The heelies or however U spell them.

Plus she cant roll on them(Wont say heel with those fake stuff)

haha whell im going to check for some sponsor in the local "street" stores and go from there Smile

also i have made an apointment with the skate hall to be able to have "only heeling" time in there 1 a week atleast Smile

All in all, I think you should work on getting the name Heelys out there before trying to be a retailer for them...

If anything, try to pick up an aggressive model (Torch, Evo, GT, etc) from eBay or an international retailer (Heeler City I think was mentioned)

Upon showing what can be done with the shoes should then migrate on to the demand for the shoe...

I would hate to see you pull a business loan out, fill up on inventory, and then realize that you're not selling anything because you're just another store in Stochholm, you know

im not going to sell the heelys that not my work to do thats the stores Wink

i was trying to get to geter and try to pull up a team and make heelys something in sweden becouse right now noone knows it!
i get stoped every day becouse people ask.
i also get stoped every day becouse store managers say "no rollerblades in here" whell it isent i say and start walking xD hahaha

XD yeah, I love doing that... I do it at work all the time...

I'll just roll on by, and when they take a double take, I end up just walking along lol

And as for getting the name out... A team is definately a good idea, but just doing it where ever you go...

I get some pretty weird looks when I go rolling by, so I am used to being asked questions. Mostly it is "Those come in adult sizes" and then I explain to them where they can get a pair...

I also get "OMG Those are big holes" but thats a different topic lol
