OK, so here's my new vid. There are some spots where I gimp, but I'm working on it. This is pretty much an update on what I can do so far, which is cheesegrater, footie, frontslide, UFO, and dropping in without gimping, about 60% of the time.
As for the rest, it seems like when I was practicing some tricks, I have lost the ability to do others. Like, trying to focus on the cheesegrater, I have fallen short on the backsides.
And trying to not gimp, I've pretty much lost all confidence to pump.
Anyways, theres the vid, comment it if you'd like, but more then anything, I'm looking for pointers, before I start to focus on making what I do better, is there anything that you see technique wise I should work on |

Two things to work on:
1. pumping. Start at the bottom of the biggest pipe you can find, and go up from there. Don't do any tricks or anything, just go back and forth, trying to pump and get higher and higher each time. When you can reach the coping, you've got it, just keep practicing. Once you do this, you can do all your vert while pumping and not gimping at the same time.
2. vert stalls/grinds. I know you aren't good enough at pumping yet to do them tru, but it seems like you're planting your foot too early. Try to swing your weight back and your feet up, to get as high as you can....THEN plant your foot to get up the last bit |
