How long have you been heeling? I'm not including a poll because it might be lacking.

So. how long have you been heeling and why did you start heeling?

I started 3 years ago in 2004. It was june 5th i think and i remember it was 5th grade going into 6th. The reason why, i dont even remember anymore but i guess i'll stick with what i said in merlyn's video "I guess i saw them at the mall....*starts cracking up*" Wink

i got mine in january 2006 i got them bc punk got them like a month or two before that and he let me try them on and i needed to have them.

about 2 weeks now. Saw the kids in Wal-Mart rollin around. Thought it looked fun, and decided to give it a shot. Now I've found you can do tricks, and I'm officially a hardcore fanatic.

May 5th 2007....

I had been looking for them for about 6months... of course seeing everyone and their brother under the age of 14 with them on....

Then while coming out of..... YES.... THE MALL..... I saw a guy about my age, bout my height, come rollin up on them.... I just about tackled the guy to find out where he got them.... but the place he lead me to, didnt have my size.... soooooo.... I called all around Santa Cruz and San Jose for a pair of 12s..... nothing. Finally.... assuming my last call would be bogus.... it wasnt a skate shop, it wasnt a shoe store..... I was calling MERVYNS of all places.

OMFG!!!...... they had 12s..... woot!.... so it was off to the mall I went to get my first pair of HEELYS..... Lasers be the ones!

Then of course, I found out about the tricks.... then I found the 'City and met Seth and a few others.... then learned about grind plates, then came over here..... and here we are.... so I think its been what, 11weeks now?
(2 weeks I was on the 'disabled list'... hahah)

WEEEEEEE..... this community is great!!

I saw them at a walmart in Tennessee, that was on July 1st, but I couldnt get them until July 5th, when I came home, i got em at summit sports, they were slides, then i tried em out in the scrapbooking aisle in target

I've been heeling for 3 years going on 4 in november. I got into it because I used to try to make skates out of my shoes with tacs that slide on slick floors. A while later I saw a heelys commercial so I got a pair with my birthday money and loved them. Ever since then I've been trying new stuff with them and I never get bored.

i bought my atomics on nov 11th... wanted them to go to my cousins home and back (600ft)
