Few notes:

1. Watch your echo! Don't leave your speakers too close to your mic. Headsets are preferable for this (but I hate them, so.. yeah).

2. Nickname is YOUR nickname, not that of the server.

3. Go into the first option on Settings and turn on Push to Talk, unless you know exactly how volume-based pickup works.

4. It's so easy to talk at the same time. No real way around this one...

Ah heck yeah! TS is way better then Vent, so =P

Its a program that lets you talk to everyone (instead of type).

So its like a Shoutbox - but you can hear and talk to everyone.

You need a working microphone and speakers on your computer / laptop.

The way it works is that you download the "client" software. Slicer is already running the "server" software. After you load the client on your computer, you launch it and click on "connect". You put in the IP address that he provided (above). Then you can talk to whoever is also connected, just like the shoutbox.

I'm going to try to be on once or twice a week. LMK when ppl are going to be on.

I'll leave it up most of the time, but since it's hosted on my home machine it's not going to be 24/7.

Cool! I'll have to DL it. You should set up a calendar of times when everyone should be on. It'd be cool to get to chat with some of you like that. Might even throw the mic to the groms and let them get in on the action.
