Well, I sprained my ankle last night. I'm in band, and I was a little late gettin to the school and i walked in and my friend didnt see me so i went into the instrument room and i got my trumpet. I saw him callin someone and my phone rang and it was him, so i pushed ignore. I took my trumpet out to the bus and he still didnt see me. So he was leaving to band hall to go into the hall and i ran up behind him and was gona put his hood on his head (he had on a hoodie), and about that time he turned around and bumped into me. While this happened, this fat ass named Hannah was walkin backwards and hit me too. So I landed with my foot inwards (it was my right foot). Last night it only hurn to move it this way <--------> and a lil to walk. So i marched at half time and i had a limp and my friends were laughin.
When i woke up today, it hurts to walk more than yesterday and it hurts mad to move it like this <-----> so.....no heeling for me (cuz i cant put much weight on it) until it heals. So prob next week Sad it sucks bad.
O btw this is also the first time i have ever twisted my ankle.

What? No! You're not allowed to get injured while NOT wearing Heelys!

Good Luck on your ankle, I got mine sprained a few weeks ago aswell.

Don't worry HL22, that's the wonderful thing about being a human: unlike cars and computers, when we get broken, we usually self-repair in a relatively short amount of time Smile

As for the topic of what shoes are allowed where: I'm technically supposed to wear proper shoes (like smooth plain leather or whatever) to work, rather than training shoes (sneakers), but for years I got away with wearing plain-looking black sneakers, but nowadays I'm so sure they won't fire me (or probably even notice) that I just wear any footwear to work, even colourful Heelys with colourful laces, althogh I haven't gone as far as Gelato's yet Very Happy

Of course, one day I know I might have a job where the dress code is a little more strict: for that eventuality I intend to buy some black Rumbles and use the leg of the pants to cover the orange "Heelys" lettering on the tongue: my theory is they should be pretty much indistinguishable from work shoes/boots Smile

At school we can wear whatever, but for marchin band we have to wear black.

I want some torch, but my parents wont let me buy anymore heelys. They say one pair is enough *shrug*

I would wear the torch for band and i could prob get away with wearin em at school (the new principal dint say anything about heelys bein against dress code in the assembly we had 1st day of school Laughing ) Wink
