Well, I know firsthand what air bubbles look like now. . .

And this is what you get if you try to combine parkour with heeling, and your wheels hit the ground after a 6 foot drop:

LOL., not pretty. Maybe we should make a "biggest air bubbles" competition? I bet some of you vert skaters could pull off some wicked breakages LOL.

There's no inner/outer difference to worry about, so no.

OK, I have a question, since I've recently started using Rumbles and Big Deuces a lot:

What happens to these after heavy use?

Do Rumbles get air bubbles or the invisible equivalent (since they're non-transparent).

Do Big Deuces?

Thanks.

I don't think Rumbles have the core difference.

BDs definitely don't.

Rumbles get air bubbles.

BD's get disconnected.

They do, but the disconnect isn't that big of a deal; if you forcibly disconnect/lube them, they become almost like slow freespins. Very Happy

Megaverts are MADE to take punishment and abuse. Mine have eaten some truly hellacious wear- and I've gone through multiple sets of bearings with them- but other than some surface scuffing and discoloration, they're just the same as they ever were.

And I've got to be one of the heaviest people in existence who wears them, and my local skatepark is not-always-smooth lineoleum/concrete.

May I ask where you acquired these megaverts? You have a spare to sell?

Megaverts are modified skateboard wheels made to fit Heelys. They are for skatepark use rather than everyday Heeling (they are very hard and very loud). The ones I have were made by Merlyn over a decade ago.

I have a pair of nearly pristine ones (they have yellowed with age), but I consider them to be valuable, effectively irreplaceable artifacts, even if they are just bits of shaped polyurethane. Make an offer accordingly.

No they had official megaverts that were I guess in a test period maybe for the pro team or something. Look up the couple of videos about them on YouTube. I don't think they had them for commercial sell.

All I could find which I didn't know they made for commercial sale were speed performance heely wheels and diamond cut heelys wheels which look similar to the megaverts. Those other ones I'm talking about looked like maybe they would be fats but I don't knoe. I giess if you got the large versions then they would be considered mega wheels size 1 - 5.
