HEELING BASICS: INSTRUCTIONS VIDEOS > "How to Heel".......
Think of how your body would actually stand up and roll successfully.... its definately a stepping process, stop running so hard forward, you DEFINATELY dont need that much momentum for right now.... in fact, stop running all together! They are shoes for a reason bro.... mirror the WALKING PROCESS.... its the first "step"....
(depending on yer power foot) Step forward right, step forward left, lift both toes..... but DO NOT bring the back foot forward to catch up with the other foot.....
Also, get somewhere you can hold onto something in front of you or off to the side...... Deez lined his chairs up in the kitchen.... was a good idea.
Please check out that above video bud.... really want to help, just not sure how. |

Sounds like you've got your weight too far back. Eh, just keep trying. You'll get it, even if takes you as long as it did me. |

| You've got a perfect counter to hold on to. Get in position and just try to balance without moving. (in other words > just stand there on your wheels with one foot in front of the other & toes in the air while holding the counter top). Then try pushing yourself in that position. Once you get the feel, try stepping into it. Seth told me to go to a store and use their shopping carts. That sounded like a great idea as well. Once you get the feel >> the rest comes quick. |
