Well said.  Yeah, doing things your own way is the best way. I also enjoy learning by myself, I mean I've not met anyone IRL yet who's better than me (not boasting, just saying there ain't nobody to teach me round here).
I was just asking about the foot position because you're better at footy than I am so I'm gonna have a try at your method some time, see if I can't learn a thing or two. I'm sure there are times when it would even be necessary to footy whilst full-on riding the brake too (like for slowing down whilst going down hill) - another thing I haven't mastered YET.
That's the beauty of Heelys: always more to learn.
And those cool footy-hops. . . I tried, I can't do them yet. Maybe if/when I master footying toe-up "á la Maverick" I'll be able to  |

This is true... Its just skating in general is always a new rush.
Also, with the footy hops, I've been footying for going on 2 years. Its my favorite trick, so the footy hops come natural... Just be careful, the wheel likes to slide out |
