I'm sure some of you have encountered this problem with foam soles found on most of the hybrid shoes. My Flows developed it only after a day of light skating in a parking garage. The is an attempt to repair the cracks and seperation with Locktite Shoe-Glue.

After the glue cures, I'll give them a shot at the skate park and report the results.

Be careful with this! The soles can really crumble a lot once they get to that point so skating in them could be dangerous. I know a lot of sneaker heads that have done this for older shoes and that's just for normal every day wear.

Thanks for the heads up, so far for daily use they're holding up nicely. I'll go super light at the skate park and keep a close eye. The foam is very brittle so can't see them survive vert stuff.

That's what I was thinking.... could see a potential for a disastrous fall. You could always use a regular pair of shoes and just carve/glue the plate by itself, but I don't think the wheel well would work because most soles arent deep enough.

I've actually had a pair completely fall apart like you're saying , but thankfully I was just cursing at a low speed. I actually made a prototype pair of Propel 2.0 hybrids with custom delrin grind plates several months ago. I've gone pretty hard on them with good success, but the plates are eventually going to separate. I'm planning on making a new pair pretty soon with actual fasteners holding the plates, so we'll see how those hold up.
