Not only am I going to wind up with high-powered ultraviolet light searing my corneas permanently, I'm paying someone to do it.
I might post a glasses-destruction video when I'm done. |

Four days later, and this is the best thing that ever happened to me. The new machine could fix even my horrifically astigmatic, myopic eyes. Still seeing some smears and blurs around light sources, but I really, really don't care, as I can actually go to the top of a hill and enjoy the view. (At -11 diopters, that wouldn't have been even a joke.)
No glasses-destruction video- they went to the donation bin instead. |

They offered that, but it was out of my price range and way more invasive than I wanted.
Considering that I'm 20/20 in my right and 20/25 in my left (my right sucked bad and my left was GODAWFUL), I'm glad I went with this. |
