Still good grades Emmz Smile

Congrats to you too Smile

Back when I was at school my grades depended on if I liked the subject: If I liked it I could get A's, if I didn't mind it B's or C's, if I disliked it I got D's. I Probably could have done better if I studied, my problem is I was smart but lazy Smile

Yeah, the elementrary school i went to was dubbed a magnet school when i was in 4th grade for being the only school at that time (6 years ago?) that mandated spanish class so it was a bilingual magnet program school. In addition to that i was in AP/gifted/honors classes Ap in math (doing third grade multiplication in 1st.) and i was like that all these years until 8th grade when geometry got the best of me and they put me into back into honors either way all the kids who passed geometry in 8th (all 4 >.>) have to take it this year because the 10th grade fcat (the florida state test) is focused on geometry so they dont want anyone to fail it so whoever passed it the first time is wasting a whole year of re-doing geometry. I havent gotten straight A's since 5th grade. always a's and b's and when i got into high school a's b's c's and even a d in algebra 2. So i defintely want to focus and do good so pre-cal next year will be my last credit and senior year i dont have to take a math course.

The school I go to has been named the 3rd best high school in the nation, and has stayed in the top 80 for many years. First person to find out what it is gets a cookie!!!

SO many replies... *draws one from hat*

How do you think they do geometry, sticks and twine?

True, Geometry is PART of mathematics, but I find it weird that you are only taught that one part - that would leave your overall mathematical knowledge sorely lacking - or are there other modules you didn't show?

He is in other years. Most American schools take a year for geometry around the time they start on algebra.

There exists a solution for this "running" problem; what on Earth could it be?
