In trying various different Heelys and Wheels I am learning the sizes bit by bit, and am happy to share this knowledge in case it helps anyone else, and hopefully some of you will be able to add your knowledge of heely wheels and their sizes. So far I have learned the following:

edit: all measurements in mm are wheel diameters Smile

2-wheel models
==========================
UK6+ (US 7+) front wheel - 34mm
UK6+ (US 7+) back wheel - 36mm

UK5 and below (US 6 and below) front wheel - ?? mm
UK5 and below (US 6 and below) back wheel - ?? mm

FATS
====
36mm Small (J12 - UK Adult 5) [US Mens 6 and below]
38mm Medium (UK 6-7) [US 7-8]
41mm Large (UK 8-11) [US 9 and up]

MEGAS
=====
44mm Small (J12- UK Adult 5) [US 6 and below]
46mm Medium (Adult Size 6-8) [US 7-9]
48mm Large (Size Adult 9-11) [US 10 and up]

Someone once said that the 2-wheel models wheels are not different wheels, just fats, but I found out the hard way that only the LARGE sizes of 2-wheel heely can use a Fats wheel, and that is only in the larger back wheel bay - the smaller wheel bay on the large 2-wheel models, and both wheel bays on the smaller 2-wheel models, are all too small for even the smallest fats.

I'm guessing that maybe the smaller wheels in the 2-wheel models might be similar in size to "ORIGINAL" heelys wheels, but I haven't got any wheels this small and can't find exact dimensions online - maybe someone who already has this info could add a post here? Smile

Is that measurement circumference, diameter, or lengthwise?

Diameter - that's the one that most websites/wheelpacks seem to have on them, so I took it as my guide Smile

I've added a little note to make this clearer.

I was wondering if anyone has ever sucessfully installed one size larger wheel in a Heelys shoe than was intended, but a bit of careful modification of the wheel bay?

From a lot of street skating and catching rough pebbles, my first pair of torches wheel bays are really worn, and I'm thinking that although they're meant for the 46mm medium mega wheel, with only a 2mm diff and a lot of wear I might be able to squeaze the large 48mm mega wheel in there. Smile

Anyone ever done this sucessfully?
