--I ACCIDENTLY CLICKED THE WRONG LINK, CAN THIS BE MOVED TO OFF-TOPIC??? THANKS!!--

So I traded in my RedLine for an '05 Scion TC

The RL was way to expensive for me to run (needing a tune after every race) along with the insurance on a supercharged LSJ was just insane. I wanted something still a little sporty, but nice; A Scion.

It has a Japanese Spec (the entire car was made in Japan) 2.4 TTV-I Motor with stock 17" Lightweight Rims, Low Profile Tires, 1" lowering kit, Flowmaster Cat system with an APEXI regulator for the computer. 5-Speed Manual with Racing clutch and a light-weight flywheel has my shift timing lowered by almost a full second from Stock. I have a cold air intake sitting in my garage (may put it on in time for HCG) along with a few other parts (smaller idle pully, and some cosmetic stuff) waiting for me to install.

All in all, its a slower ride, but I like it. Less on gas (34 city, 42 highway), darker color to avoid tickets, and WAY cheaper insurance (by almost $100 a month), this car will do the trick.

Enjoy it...

Whats wrong with Ford? I have an F350 Super Duty in my driveway, and it runs like a champ? Plus my old Mustang, and I was driving around a Probe for a while.

Yeah, at first, I didn't care much for the color. I wanted a silver or a white. But then I saw it sitting there, and I couldn't resist. It matches the tint nicely, and it also matches the roof which is 2 solid panes of tinted glass... Looking back at the white, I feel pretty happy I got the blue

Thanks, I enjoy it... but I don't think the clutch likes me as much though lol

I wish I could have fun with it lol, but that would require going out to a back road and making sure there were no cops. I did though take it up to 95 mph on the test track they had, and it was only an 1/8th mile. I wonder what I can run in the 1/4th mile =D[/quote]

A guy around the corner from me has a turbo'd TC but it looks WAY too low to be street fast. He hardly ever drives it so it makes me wonder if it's poorly tuned or something. Nice cars though. Can't go wrong with a Toyota IMO.

There are a couple turbo TC's around here, but they are all fabricated, none of them are stock (and there are the super charged, but the TRD blows more then sucks hehe)

I met up with one guy last night with a N/A 07 TC, Greddy Exhaust, AEM Cold Air, DC Headers, and I believe that was it. Either way, he was running in the 14's up here (so mid to low 13's down sea level), which is faster then most stock STi's, Evos, and Mustang GT's

I'm pretty stoked, though I really do not have any plans other then cosmetics for it, at least until I can get it all paid off (Six Years, Three Months at 368 a month, but all on my own baby!!!)

Hopefully when the time comes, the parts will be a little easier to obtain, so I can mod it for way cheaper then 250 for a Cold Air Intake lol

Well since we're on the car subject, I'mma snake your thread and post a recent mag arti on mine (of course, it was done about a week before I bought it so now I gotta step it up even more). I've since done a tad more work to what the PO started but it's gonna be some hawt schet by the end of this year.
