Hey, basically, I have this... how should I put... click in my wheel
Its on my Rail 9151 Fats
Basically, it started with one, then migrated to the other, and now both are clicking and I sound like a kid with a card in his spoke
I can "feel" the click when I roll around in my heel and I have never really expirienced it with my inlines before
When there is no pressure on the shoe, i can spin the wheel and it goes along silently (well as silent as ABEC7s can be), but I actually start to heel, well, basically, I don't need to worry about having any Helen Kellers in my way cause the noise will wake the dead (lol, thanks Slicer, I loved that tutorial)
Basically, I just wanted to know if this was the oh so feared "Air Bubble" or would it be something closer related to the coin axel. I'm pretty much ruling out the bearings
And on the topic of bearings so I don't have to do another post, can you switch them out like inlines, or are the bearings a permanent attatchment to the wheel?
Thanks guys! |

| Yes you can take the bearings out of wheels, but on fats it might be harder because they have the cclip axle which you need a cclip remover to get off. |

| the fats that come with rails are coin axle so u can just unscrew them and the bearings come out easy..you might either have air bubble or a broken bearing. Check the bearings first and if that doesnt stop the noise then you have an air bubble |

But wasn't Helen Keller blind AND deaf?
And I've had quite a few clicking pairs of fats. I've pulled out the bearings and cleaned them off and it still didn't stop the clicking. So this question is for me as well. [: |

| Try actually *replacing* the bearings and see what happens. |

bearings are broken or airbubble.
on the rail fats its more likely that its air bubbles. |
