so i got my basics down not perfectly i got the plant step kick down
i can keep rolling Razz

but i can only turn right and when i turn right i lose my balace when i try to turn left i lose my balance and when i try to sway to the left

i fall on my ass

It sounds like you're leading with your right foot. If so, it's going to be easier for you to turn right. Turning left isn't even worth learning leading with right.

You need to become comfortable rolling with your natural lead foot(which is probably your right). Once your able to comfortably do that, you'll need to learn to lead with your left foot. Practice shuffling alot. Basically, to turn left, you'll switch to left lead and to turn right you'll switch to right lead. Being able to lead with both feet is pretty much the absolute basics of heeling.

That's right - you have to learn to "switch".

Lead left to turn left .. lead right to turn right.

Sometimes you can turn left when leading right. To do this, bring your left (back) foot slightly to the other side of the right-foot (slightly crossed behind).

There are limited uses for this (such as carving hard and pumping). Most of the time, switching is much better.

not really, tips and tricks is what it says. Need help doin a UFO, check it, or you want to post a new trick, there too. But basically, try the switch. One thing that I do (cause I lead with my right as well) is I'll plant my feet and basically make a sharp turn in the direction I'm going. Typically I'll do that if I go really fast, but otherwise, Merlyn's way works well, with bringing the trail foot back and gliding into the turn. Practice, practice, practice is the best advise, and do what works for you

me myself would consider learining 2 lead with ur right foot and turn both ways because i think it would be a real pain having 2 switch all the time. because i lead with my left foot and can turn bothe ways but then again if u find it easier switching all the time carry on doing that

hmm.. I never switch to left lead when turning left.. I must be weird.

It's not hard to turn left with right lead, at least for me. (though obviously easier to turn right.)
