A am basically a novice when it comes to heeling, but I do have one quick question. When you jump from a high place to a low place, (i.e. a curb to the street) do I land on the wheels or the soles of my shoes? It feels like I'm damaging my wheels when I land on them... So do I plant then role or just go into the role?

It depends .. if you're coming off a short rail, you can lamp on the wheels.

But if its high (2,3 feet), then I usually land with the front foot on the wheels and the back foot on the sole (and then push off).

And if its really, really high (say 7 ft ofr more), then I land ONLY on my wheels. Cuz, then I'm probably on vert. Razz

If it hurts your wheels, then my wheels would already be split in half.

I'm a big jumper.
