I'm not sure how many people here already knew the results, but for whoever doesn't...it didn't pass. Anyway, I'm in San Francisco right now, and I've been watching the election results from the hotel room, so i wondered.....what are everyone's views on it? |

Generally I'm all for liberty and freedom of choice for most things, and same goes for this. It always seems to me that making something illegal doesn't stop it from happening anyway, and brings with it other problems and costs. I mean it works in Amsterdam. |

Yep....it would've legalized recreational marijuana and allowed anyone to have a 5' by 5' growing area. |

I think it's inevitable, because making it illegal is clearly not working very well. Legalizing it makes it not only taxable, but also a valid way of generating income and it ends the criminal (dangerous, violent) black market for pot. I personally have very little interest in doing it, but I also don't care stop other from making their own choices in life. Besides, pot is WAY safer than alcohol..... |
