the streets near me have loads of tiny rocks and stones. I'll be heeling along then suddenly the wheel stops rolling, cause a stone is caught in there. I then fly forwards almost falling on the floor, but most of the time I manage to stay upright. just wondering if it happens to anyone else?

Oh yeah, used to happen to me all the time... I have many horrific incidents related to getting rocks jammed in my wheel... Eventually though, I learned to dodge them, and my reflexes became quicker so when I did get a rock in there I was usually able to keep myself from being sent sprawling onto the pavement. Now, I have the Big Deuce wheels, and I havent had a rock get jammed in them ever. GO BIG DEUCE!

Just get the Evolutions.

And Mega-Wheels can clear most pebbles. I don't bother with Big Duece any more ..

If you can't find Big Duece, then just get Megas.

Also - don't ride with your front foot so high. This brings the back of the heel close to the ground, making it easier to catch pebs.

Why did I not realize that before? No wonder my Fleets' wheels are all grooved up. I've been practically shoving the wheel well into the ground right along with the (worn smooth) rear brake...
