After trying on dozens of different Rock Climbing shoes .. I ended up with these - I TOTALLY DIDN'T KNOW what they named the shoe until AFTER I already bought it.
http://www.rei.com/product/736702?preferredSku=7367020133&cm_mmc=cse_froogle-_-datafeed-_-product-_-7367020133&mr:trackingCode=7E89071B-81F9-DE11-BAE3-0019B9C043EB&mr:referralID=NA
So even years later .. different sport .. I'm still wearing EVOs.

First reaction: If that's a rock climbing shoe, where's the grip?!
Quote: | Grippy 2.2mm TRAX® rubber duro-rands surround lower part of uppers, protecting feet and enhancing friction; perforated toes enhance toe hooking
Multi-thickness 4.2mm TRAX XF-3 high friction rubber soles stick tenaciously to rock |
Ohhhh.... |

They look quite flexible and comfy - they could double as slippers around the house |
