I am 26 and I always wanted to try these out. I wouldn't mind learning new things and maybe vert but, Im old and my bones aren't what they used to be. I am a breakdancer and I have mad balance and strength. My friend gave me a pair of heelys and I just want to know if you think there are boo boo or what not. I figured out how to heely forward but I am unable to do any tricks yet. I have incorporated my heeling into my bboy style. Kinda unqiue.
here is a link to them

well the ages of people on here range from about 10 to 40. So your not too old, don't worry Razz

If your a bboy, Im sure your bones will be able to cope with heelys.

Your heelys are called cyclones .. i think. They're not the best heelys for vert - for that you'd want a pair of pro series or torch if you can find them (they have grindplates and bigger wheels called megas). But if your not grinding or doing vert, those are fine Very Happy. I prefer fats models (smaller wheels like you have) for flatland etc anyway Smile

Also, have you seen flying steps videos? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdPyQnlNo9M pretty cool combination of heelys and breakdancing.

If you want to learn some tricks check out this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ns7meOWH8Bg
It's made by seth (a member on here) and covers pretty much all the basic and advanced flatland tricks.

Hope that helps Very Happy

I stepped in to my first pair at 30. Invented most of the vert tricks at 32 -33. So .. um .. no excuses.

Just don't be too proud to wear some gear. Saves your butt when you're starting out, for sure.

G'Luck.
