The Grind-N-Roll has oval lace slots that accommodate 2 laces. So I came up with this lacing scheme to use up the extra 12" of lace length.

Anyways, looks pretty tight. I used to do that with all of my shoes... just play with the laces to get rid of all the extra-ness. One pair was SO cool, I gotta take a picture. |

I always did like a good lacing.
Hey HN, if it's no trouble could you show a sketch diagram of how this was done, a bit like they do on this website: http://www.fieggen.com/shoelace/lacingmethods.htm
Don't worry if you ain't got time, I understand. |

Even worse... I had the car shipped from overseas to the US (it is 1 of only 6 here) and customized the shoes to match! The laces kinda match the black/white woven interior. |

Mainly because I run a VW website. We never got the Polo here in the states so being an enthusiast, I had one shipped over and modified it to my likings (moar lowar with custom wheelz). It's been in several magazines and on several websites and has served me well. I sold it awhile back and the new owner is putting quad bike carbs on it and serious custom built full on racing suspension. It's gonna be a pretty crazy little toy for sure. BTW... if you want to get a pic in your head > it's about 2/3ds the size of an old VW Rabbit (yeah... it is really small and I looked awesome driving it!!)
and of course... my fav pic

@merrie, if you look closely the horizontal bars aren't just one lace. They're 2 overlapping, so with that i dont think it should be too hard for you to figure out. |

Btw that lacing syle works good for pro series if you have medium fat laces. I'll take pics. |

The diagram would tell for sure. |
