Well honors english in my school means its the same as the next highest levels academic. My school won some fancy "presidents blue ribbon" for academics and shit. too much hype, yes... we're a great school.... 302 in our marching band.... but the kids in it are spoiled rotten. i know kids whos parents do their projects for them. really!?

but i guess we score well on tests.

lets see, this is my schools 3rd year open. The first year the marching band had 38 people (1 senior). I was not one of them cuz i broke my ankle the first week of school. The band did horrible and got almost last in every competition. The 2dn year(last year) was my first full year marching. We had 58 people and an AMAZINGLY cool show. Our first comp was our trip to oregon and we got...7th in class. No trophies, and the year on our "thanks for comming" plaque was a year off. Our next competition was a local one for most of the schools in the southwestern part of the state. There were alot of bands. They go through announcing 3rd place in class (5A small), we didnt get it. 2nd place, still not us. First place..........ROCKY MOUNTAIN HIGH SCHOOL! HOLY SHIIT, we go fucking NUTS! My god ive never been that excited in my life! We also scored best visual performance and best music! The last comp was the big one, DIII at Boise state University (blue turf) In that we got 2nd in class and best percussion! In just one year we went from 7th place to 1st and 2nd! It was euphoric! This year we have 78 and quite a few freshman. But with 78 we still get to be in 5A small, the group with out the schools that have 300+ people. its going be be really hard to top last years show however.

sometimes i wish we weren't on a block schedule so we could have more classes. 24 credits total for us. Sounds like a fun year. I should have all (or most) of my credits senior year since i took high school classes in 8th grade. That means senior year ill be taking college courses. And i don't even know if my school HAS astronomy!
