im sure you'e seen this before, but y was this on the news? if u fall, sure u get hurt, but, really? "wear saftey gear when riding heelys" is't gonna do much. maybe on ramps or when u first start, but... also, how did someone die? |

ther was a kid wearing heelys w/out wheels and he went to get the mail and h turned around and got it its kinda sad  |

| No, he was wearing wheels. I saw the news story the day it happened in 06 or 05. He was wearing rebels (awkwardest to walk in) and at scenes where people die, they always remove the shoes and put them where the person died. In the article they had a picture of the rebels lying in the middle of the street. He wasn't rolling when it happened, he rolled across the street to get the mail still slightly on the street and the mail thing for the houses there was next to a pole so the driver never saw him and bam. Hit him. |

| Ya its really tragic but like the article said the heelys were "not a factor". People get hurt doing everything, heelys are sccualy REALLY safe. So boo hoo on people who think they are dangerous. |

yeah.
i was just saying, really? although its sad... he wasnt even ROLLING when he died. and even if he would have been rolling, he died because he was hit by a car... not his rolling-ness. |
