With the resignation of Roger Adams and his cousin from the board, presumably to initiate a hostile takeover with the help of some other large corporation, I must weigh in with the following:

They have my firm and unwavering support.

Seriously, this is like Walt Disney leaving the Disney company if he had sold out to venture capitalists. When the founder tells you.. well, here, I'll quote him:

Yes, THAT Roger Adams wrote:
Moreover, I believe that the Company would benefit from being run by true experts in the industry. Indeed, Heelys’ core product likely would have significant staying power under such a scenario if properly promoted and improved.

Translation: You incompetents have screwed up for the last time and I am PISSED.

(Wouldn't you be, if your invention was so badly handled?)

Hey, CSWC? Bail. Just BAIL, Gary. When the founder turns his back on you, you're done. I don't give half a damn what your internal issues are. You're bleeding a million a quarter on this. Roger and his cousin control almost as much stock as CSWC and have name recognition. The rank-and-file stockholders don't trust you. Greedy lawyers with the words "fiduciary duty" on their lips are going to get involved. Combined it's going to be a pure soul reaping.

I, for one, welcome our new Skechers overlords. (Unless they start skimping on quality. Then all hell breaks loose.)

so, let me get this strait, cause i don't entirely understand this. Roger Adams, the founder of heelys, left, and sketchers is coming in? If so, being a better business and all, i think sketchers could bring us back. Hopefully...

It's not that Skechers is a replacement for Roger, it's that Roger wants Skechers to replace Capital Southwest (the people who own and control Heelys now). He might even be able to keep his stock.
