The other day Merlyn was mentioning that he liked to do "T Stops" on Heelys. I wasn't sure if he meant the standard "back foot drag" method some of us use to slow quickly, or something that looked more like the "back foot sideways on" thing that Inliners call T-stops, so I had a play at the latter. I think I've seen similar things done before on Heelys by the German Heelers, but this is my idea of how an Inline T-stop could be done on Heelys:
Various Slow Versions:

A slightly faster version after a couple of kickswitches to gain speed:

However, as stated in the comments on YT, I don't advise people to do this unless they have plenty of spare pairs, and/or plenty of spare cash to buy more, and don't care about the floor they're doing it on, because it can wear the shoes and/or floor if done aggressively. Then again, life is so far 100% fatal, all the rest is just details, but nobody suggests we stop living, so I say if you like T stops and it's your shoes and your floor and your money, I see no reason why you shouldn't have a go. |
