| I have Fats (I'm pretty sure. They have the yellow ABEC 7 bearing...) and the axel is starting to get unscrewed while I'm Heeling. Has this happened to anyone? Is there anything I can do to prevent this, or do I just have to buy a new pair? |

| this happens alot if youv unscrewed it on purpose previously it only works for coin axle though just get 2 coins and twist them oppsite directions as hard as you can that should last you a week or a really good heely day |

Yeah. I've unscrewed it to clean out the bearings, but I've unscrewed both. And only one is screwing up. I have to keep taking out the wheel and tightening it after about fifteen minutes of regular heeling or after about two stalls. I'll go try that coin trick, though. I think it'll work with my wheels...Thanks seth! |

it works with my mega wheels and my abec 5 fats
doesnt work well (i had previously wrote wheel here) with my big deuce |

Mm. It is sort of working. But I just pulled hair out of my axles. That is disgusting. I hate it when that happens, hair in your axles. |

If they are unscrewing .. ask you dad/mom or a peice of telfon tape (used for pumping) .. then line the thread and screw it back in.
Used to happen to me when I used FATs .. its less common with Megas |

Well, it's as tight as I can possibly get it. Hopefully this will last for a while. But I actually just looked my wheel head on and noticed that one of the sides of the axel is curved upwards.
Sorry about the redness. I had to cover the flash with my finger cuz I dont know how to turn it off. Dear dear... |

Hmm .. then that should be coin-axle.
If that's the case .. try the teflon idea. That worked for me.

its an ultra thin strip of tape - made of telfon a plastic polymer material (called "fluoropolymers") .. very strong, but also WICKED flexible.
Most homes have a roll of this stuff to stop leaks from pipes in the garage somewhere. Ask you mom or dad.
