Sounds like you're having trouble turning against the lead foot, in which case this post should help: http://heelychat.com/viewtopic.php?t=2840
Once you can do tight turns either way no matter which foot is in front, the only other thing you need to know to do a good fishtail is how to put your whole body into it. . . that bit just takes practise.
As for the poll: which to get for birthday: depends what you already have and what you need em for I guess. If you wanna grind and don't have a grind pair, has to be torch, but ninja's also have a lot of sweet benefits once you swap out the wheel/bearings (like a better designed wheel-bay IMO, and nice looks (IMO) that are more like skateboarding shoes than soap shoes. Ninja's are even tighter than torches so definitely buy big if you go for ninja's. |
