Question here that slice will probably be able to answer: When I bought my rumbles I put some suede protector on them that is supposed to protect them from rain and stains, but I've never taken suede stuff out in snow before, so now that I've come home and they've got a little damp on the outside, what "after care" is best to keep them in good condition? should I just dry them, or brush them, or something else?
Thanks. |

just let them dry naturally, they'll be fine. Don't apply heat, especially. If you end up getting them soaked through on a regular basis, then some leather conditioner would be a good idea. |

I've used, misused, and taken my Rumbles sledding, with no aftercare of any kind. Repeatedly.
It's not a problem. |

I wore mine Ice fishing yesterday, with about 8 pairs of socks, and the plugs! They seem fine today! The only thing I would suggest is that if you don't plan to wear the plugs you (carefully) apply a thin layer of non-stick spray, like PAM or something made for baking to the wheel well. This will prevent the snow from turning into a heel snowball, at least for awhile. We used to have spray my sister's horse's feet when it snowed! Just be careful not to get it all over the sole, and be aware that will get on your axles. |
