OK, simple question: I've seen some heelers like Big Mac and Sara do multiple 360's quite fast and whilst I can do a few 360s, I can never do as many as I would like because I get dizzy, so please can you tell me: how do you prevent dizziness whilst doing a lot of spins so you can do more spins? |

Spotting. Like in ballet. You pick a point and look at it while spinning. At the point you can't turn your head anymore, you "whip" your head around and find the point from the other direction. |

Yeah I thought of that and tried it but so far I can't quite do it - turning my head separately to my body seems to throw my balance off worse, but maybe it just needs more practise, I dunno. Thanks for the help tho wondercheese
On the vids I've seen of people doing it they don't seem to be using that technique, so I was thinking there might be some other trick that would be useful? |

Agreed, and do you reckon it's because you get dizzy? That's what happens with me at least.
Luckily I might have had a breakthrough with this recently. I'm not sure yet, but I recently got someone else to film me doing multiple 360s, and I noticed after the first couple of begin to lean forward a bit, and maybe this is throwing me off. . . so when I get a chance I'm gonna practise trying to keep myself upright and my balance centred, and see if it helps. |

Right, i can do at least 4 so far, or more if there's a bit of a slope to keep me rolling, but still needs work of course. . . my general rule is I don't consider myself good enough unless i can do a particular trick 10 times in a row at will. |

i dont do fast spins spotting, it hurts my neck. i just use my arms to pump for the first few and if i lose speed do the pizza french fry thing you do for ski-ing as for looking, i look straight ahead and watch the world go by or just close by eyes. |

I know it's very hard to make movements understood online just using text, so if someone could make (or point me to) a vid showing this movement Seth describes that would be cool. |
