Got much of the shopping done this morning. The kids I know are getting Toxics, and the adults are all getting their favourite drinks, so it's proabably going to be a very "merry" christmas around here, if you'll excuse the pun. Very Happy

Of course I'm sure there'll be time to get people other little gifts, but at least I've gotten everyone something now.

So, who else is looking forward to christmas, and what do you hope to get or know you're getting? And have you any ideas what you're buying people? Smile

I just was just going to the off topic to make a "What Do You Want or Know You're Getting For Christmas" topic. You took my idea! lol

Well I already know we're getting a Wii because I was with my mom yesterday when she bought it. (I can't tell my little sis about it though) and I know we already have 1 game for it and it came with Wii Sports. She might buy Wii FIt too, but didn't want me to know so she didn't buy it yesterday.

What I want for Chrictmas is a digital camera, a new iPod because mine is messed up, and Rock Band. I also want some more clothes (I LOVE clothes) and games for my new PSP. Very Happy

I have GH 3 and GH 2, but my mom said Rock Band is noisey cuz of the drums. That's the whole reason why I want it is for the drums...

I also got heelys for gifts! My Dad's getting Ninjas, my friend will get a pair of Rumbles (thanks ME for the amazon sale link!).

I want this: http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/electronic/ada2/

Yes I AM a nerd, but I'm cool with it!

I'm pretty sure my Dad got me a Wii, but I don't know for sure.

I agree, Rock Band is pretty fun! My friend got it with her B-day money, and we played all weekend!

Haha, I like it, one of my digicams can focus at 20cm to do macro shots at 16x zoom which isn't bad for shooting bugs and seeing how many eyes they have Very Happy, but a 200x microscope would be even better. . . you could see what they had for breakfast! Laughing

I want the USB scope, because I can use it to get awesome shots for posters, presentation and my dissertation! The projects I'm working on would benefit from being able to get close up images of leaf surfaces, roots, and microbial plates! 200X is not quite enough to visualize most bacteria (you need at least 400X, preferably more, for that), but I can get video of the protozoa in one of the communities I'm characterizing, and get more accurate counts that way. Also, I'm the kind of nerd that likes to look at things under a microscope....
