Don't remember where I saw it but when H2 first did vert flips at Vertigo she used a mattress on the ramp beside her to land on, in case she didn't land on her feet. . . seems like a sensible precaution for the first time:
So, if I had to guess how you'd do it, I'd say you jump in as fast as you can to get big air on the way back up, pump like crazy, and at the top of the ramp kick off and pull your knees in tight to your chest with your abs to help the spin, and of course, stick your legs back out again to land. But since I can't do a vertflip, don't take my word for it - I'm just hypothesising and hoping that will be of some use until Merlyn or H2 comes along |
