Anyone ever seen this heelys datasheet before? (ignore the ball and disc magnets I stuck it to my fridge with )
I got it with a new pair of grails that I won for like $2
It seems to be suggesting that there is a correct way round for the wheel to go in the shoe (always with the + side of the coin axle on the left) - is just that with all my coin-axled mega I never got this before
I guess in theory always putting the axle in this way round is supposed to stop the axle unscrewing itself?
I have noticed that if you skate hard on axles that are a little unscrewed it can bend the thinner screw-thread part of the axle slightly, resulting in wobbly wheels, so I always make sure my axles are tight before use.
Does anyone here always put their axles in a certain way round? |

| the plus side always seem to be on the rough side of the wheel so i just put that side towards the inward part of the shoe because the rough part helps you grip the wheel to push it out with your fingers when i just step on my wheels to get em in, and i dont do the whole plus side thing the soft side is harder to push em out so i end up using the stepping out method to take it out. |

So seth - did that sheet used to come with older Heelys or something? As I said, in buying about a dozen pairs this is the first time I've seen it. |

it comes with torches and evos and any other shoe with coin axles but the older ones was huge and the newer ones is just a little slip attached with the "manual" that has roger adams wishing you happy heeling. It's where the Tag with the number comes, i have loads of em and i would scan it on here if my scanner worked. Its basically the same thing just on a little manual thingy.
Don't quote me on the plus side being on the rough side though, im not sure either because ive opened alot of my wheels so i dont know which is a untouched and which isnt. |

I think its has to be put in a certain way because of the rolling...
I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but I stripped the coin axel in my Rails' Fats which caused them not to lock anymore leaving the wheel to bounce around in the bay. I looked at the wheel and it was put in reverse per the instructions... The axel could come undone slightly when rolling, and with the impact could cause wear down on the thread, making the wheel unsafe with a slight wobble |
