I want to know which Heelys Model is shown in this Banner:
I searched and found the original post where Merlyn made it, but it doesn't say.
The answer may seem obvious, it looks like a yellow model of Evolution, but the only two kinds of Evo's in the Heelypedia with yellow on them are 9092 and 9105 but neither has sides with a white Heelys logo and yellow panels:
9092:
9105:
I'm guessing they're a custom job, but am curious to know more: did someone do a Deez style paintjob on their Evo's, or did Merlyn just photo-edit the colours when making the banner? |

Second question:
Which Heelys Model is used for the pic on the old style boxes:
I'm guessing Radical
The Heelypedia says no longer sold in stores, but I'm not sure if they were general heelys (available most places) or an exclusive?
And did they really come with white mega's? I want some |

The ones in the banner are evolution 9093 but merlyn edited them.
The ones in the advertisement are Revolution 9078 with special advertisement megas they come with normal black megas and were the first mega wheeled model ever made (which i'm fortunate to have a pair of in style 9080) they havent been in retail since early 04 (questionable because radicals came out in summer taht year i remember from when they refreshed the side) so good luck finding em, i got mine through a thrift store. ALL revolutions original megas come with the weird abec 7 black bearings. |

Over here in the UK the shops are well behind in terms of Heelys, so I found plenty of pairs of Revolutions (even some Size 12s) - but it was really only the weird White Mega wheel I was interested in - if they don't come with them then I'm not buying another flat mega shoe - I already have too many that don't get worn, unless there's some benefit to that model, like superb comfort or good wheel placement or whatever?
In fact, whilst I was looking, I noticed we can get practically any of the Mega wheeled models in size 12, especially the ones considered old or no-longer-sold on the heelypedia, provided they don't have grindplates - the grindplate models are the ones that are rare in size 12. |
