Just wondering if I'm unusual in liking my pads. . . I'd just hate to not be able to heel for a while because I injured myself: I used to run a lot and once I knackered my knee up by overdoing it, and could hardly walk for a month or two, and that was a really unpleasant experience I wouldn't want to repeat, but what about you guys?
For me I wear it for practising new things or stuff I haven't quite perfected yet, as this is when I am more likely to wipeout, but I don't tend to wear it when just nipping round the shops, I guess it's either because I feel self-conscious or I don't want to tip of any anti-heely store staff. |

| I picked the first one b/c I define "protective gear" as elbow, wrist, and knee pads. I wear my helmet every time I skate vert, but not pads. |

I don't have any pads that fit me anymore... I love wearing them, because they save my knees from pant burn, and with the hot months coming, that can greatly help...
I need to get some though, because I am awaiting for the day I mess up really bad... again... bum bum bum |

only when im trying new things or im on vert or practicing, or demos. not actually like at the mall or something.
i like gear because it makes feel safe so i try more stuff. |
