I think the crab walk and footie would be a nice trick to start off with. The switch is really easy once you have it down. If you go for a little more advanced, you could possibly learn different tricks into learning the first (like practicing the crabwalk, you learn the switch, etc).
Thats my opinion, but this is coming from the dude who breaks his bones trying advanced stuff |

I think 180 and 360 are the easiest. Switch takes the time of learning a whole new skate stance. |

P.S. IVI4V3R1CK I looked up a footy and it didnt look easy to me or the crabwalk!!!
From a girl who had to go to the CHIROPRACTER because she almost broke her back with her heelys!!! But still love um!!!! |

well, you gotta know how to skate switch backwards to do a 180..
so switch and backwards are prolly the best to start on. |

well, to me at least.......going backwards switch stance came naturally. idk why...they even said it in the tricktionary once, I think.....your backwards stance is supposed to be your forward stance switched. But learning to go forward switch is harder. |

i've always found that, with the people i've taught, riding forward switch is easier than riding backwards. i dunt remember for me cuz it was so long ago. *shrug* each to his own, i guess. |

Kain made a really good video that helped me.

I'm still working on those things, but they helped me understand how to do them better than other things I've seen. |
