i dont know if its possible but i was thinkin of a new grind called the v slide were your feet are in shape of a v like this (pole)-------\-/-----

try and see if you can do the slide but im not good with slides |

Keep your feet flat on the rail (not like a Royal) and ajust the toes 45 degrees inwards, toes nearly touching.
Thats my understanding of it.
Now, I don't know how possible that would be, especially in Express plates, but I guess its worth a shot |

| No it's not a ufo, or cabdriver.I'm not sure on the name but just did the exact same thing on my pvc pipe with my express soap shoes in my backyard 2 days ago.I know exactly what you mean JDH, i'll see if i can get my friend to videotape me then i'll upload it to youtube and post the link in this thread.But i'm a little busy this week so we'll see. - Joe P.S.- It's actually easier then you think. |

| Mav, i think you got it backwards i'm not sure.To me it seems that your heels are touching or are just close together.2 days ago i did it with my heels touching.Get some pvc pipe, or w/e you use and try it out. |

I guess its just the view of the rail, but either way, when I try it in real life application (either on a metal rail or on coping) my sole will get in the way, causing me to fall directly on my face |

same here, they slow me down a bit but when my shoe hits a part of rubber it still slides, just not when its like MAJORLY off the plate |
