Maybe we could ..

Have people make their videos with three parts : Vert, Tech, and Street

and then the Judge could give each catagory a rating out of 10
and then there could be a final round with like the top 5 scores.

GOOD: still shows all catagorys and they get to participate in all no matter what.

BAD: Still punishes for lack of skill in one area

The only thing i dont like about that is the fact that there's 4 winners instead of 1. and theres a 10% chance of being a tie

eh, this is why I voted for only one video. If theres only gonna be one overall winner, WHY do you need 5 videos to prove it?

Could we just run things the way we did in the last one? It seemed to work out pretty well.

Yeah ... well .. if its a series of videos, then I'm out.
If its one video, I'm in.

Just takes too much time - people drop out because its a huge time committment. Then you need extensions and blah blah blah.

I say .. keep it simple. I'd rather have one awesome vid than 100 so-so vids out there.

That's my .02 (and its probably worth $1.00)

Yeah, having multiple vids kinda suck, because its not all about the skating, but then how the skating looks.

You can do the same frontside grinds, but with the right video effects, it looks like you're doing the impossible.

So if it is just one vid, that would work nice.

But here's a thought, why note grade the vids in different aspects, like the best for vert, the best for street, the best for tech, best looking video, etc. This way, to join the one overall winner, there are winners in each sub-category. This way there isn't an isolation on the one skater...

Ok... I think I misunderstood the intent of the competition. Now that I see it's more or less a Pro-Team heeling competition, I'll be picking my hat back up and walking away respectfully.

I look forward to the excellent heeling to be represented in the videos for this comp. Good luck to everyone who submits a video.

I realize I had put the poll out for too many days. Right now a one video system is winning by 3 votes, is there any need to continue?

Please tell me if not, I'd rather have the final word out sooner.

We definitely need to have two categories - Sponsored and non-sponsored.

I mean .. AM and Pros shouldn't be competing together (in order to preserve fairness).

Very true. We can do that.

So is it an agreement? All videos are due by June 30th, they will be judged in two different divisions: Sponsored and Non-Sponsored.
?

i dont agree with the two divisions but i do change my vote to one video and thats it.

reason being some people not sponsored are good enough to be in the sponsored division, if we do have a division type thing i vote we bump up anyone worthy of sponsored division.
