| sorry, but why the heck would you "PAINT" them? it will eventually get all icky anyway. |

its shoe paint, paint that doesn't get "icky" |

It's gonna get 'icky'. Shoe/leather paint will color anything but it only works well on leather. The mesh is too flexy and NOTHING sticks to the rubber. I haven't done anything recently but I do love the subject! Just keep in mind next time... only paint the leather and prep it or it won't even stick on that.
I can assure you that mine will no crack, run, fade, or get 'icky'. |
