I cre8ted this topic 2 warn new Heelers y it is not smart to Heely outside while the ground is wet. The reason why is if you hit a slick spot when u jump a curb or when rolling on wet concrete, ur Heelys will slide from under u and u'll b on ur back and probably injured. take this tip from me bcause i learned the hard way. I went Heelin outside a mall after it rained (and it was still hazy out) and I jumped up onto the curb (after i drifted on my bro while he ran) and when i landed, i fell backwards and my head hit the concrete. Fortunately, i was not bruised. so 4 all those new startin Heelers out there, remember this:

NEVER HEELY WHEN THE GROUND IS WET!!!

bad part of that accident: I wasn't wearing my safety gear since my cousin tries to steal them. Laughing

I can second that... There are also a few vids on YT of why you shouldn't grind when its wet... Wet + Grind = Pole Meeting Face... Plus, besides the fact of skating when its wet and hurting yourself, thats a fast way to catch a cold.

i was @ a party went out side it was snowing i tried to heel but i fell over so i grinded on a bench

oh an if you take your wheels out in the snow remember to put your plug's in cuz my shoes got all stuck with snow in them i took me half an hour to get it out using a fork

It's even worse when your wheels are wet, the floor is wet from people dragging snow inside, and you think you're safe because you're indoors... errrt! Wrong!

Rumble wheels won't slip sideways so easily.

wats worse is that u tell other ppl who Heely 2 dont do it and they dont listen and they come 2 u and say they were injured. Razz

i keep tellin my training team (which is my cousins and a few of my friends) 2 dont heely when it is wet. my 1 cousin didnt listen and fell on their face and came cryin 2 me when i was there tellin them 2 not do it.

yea cuz one time i was outside i came in and i hade snow on my heelys and i was sk8ing fast inside i got a wooded floor and bam!!!!!!!!!!!!! i fell on my back my hands hurt like they were ganna fall off!!!!!!!!!!! Crying or Very sad

well i do sometimes exsept i use my old wheels and i grease them right afterwords and wipe of until they are completely dry. but still a bad idea because everything is slipery and you will fall alot

yea lol i took my heelys 2 schol and guess what... am the best hearler they suprised i can 360 over 1 chair and land sk8ing backwards.and jump when sk8ing front and land sk8ing backwards and in air touch my wheel.
