Nylon. Yes, that's a plastic.

I've heard round rails are better for your grind plates then square or flat. This makes sense because the corners are sharper and can scratch the plates easier, Just wondering if this is true.

Round rails and rounded edges are easier to grind. 2" coping is my fave!

I also grind angle-iron all the time. Yes, it does tend to cut up your grindplate a little, but not too much. You just have to get on top of it (and not ride the edge so hard).

S'all.

Thanks, nice to know around christmas time, also, I've seen you do 180 transfers. if you have done it on a rail, not on top of a half pipe that is, do you need 7 feet? Would like 6 feet be okay or would that be pushing it. JW, since I want to make my team heelys video soon and think it would be cool to include grinding but need to know what i need.

180 Mount is actually a very nice looking trick. And its a lot harder than it looks.

The "Rail Flip" where you hit a 180 in the middle of the grinds is also really fun .. I think I had a whole video just doing that. The first day I nailed it, I just kept doing it all day long .. hehe. I was completely hooked.

360 dismount is also pretty sick. But you have to be on a full height rail (about 3 feet).

You'd get props for any of those.

If you want to learn the best grinds .. watch the Soapers. They pioneered most of the tricks out there.
