Howdy.

I just got a pair of Fleets and am trying to practice indoors for the moment.

I find I roll along with my right foot forward, with both knees locked (i.e. my legs both straight) which feels like the only way to really keep your toes up.

But this feels awkward on my left (back) leg as I'm trying to keep the toe off the ground while also keeping it behind my right leg. Hmm.

Is just this something I need to get used to?

What sort of stance do you take when heeling?

In terms of placement, my left toes are just behind my right heel. It seems to work for me. When I heel, however, my left leg muscles (the lower ones) feel funny (like I'm super stretching them) and I've been doing it for 6 years off and on.

Quite frankly, I think you're doing everything right Smile. You seem to have the basics down, and you've got Fleets (so do I!) They're a great starter shoe, and maybe in nine months or so, you could pick up (like I'm about to do in a month) some Torches or shoes with a grind plate and more of a tennis-shoe like look. Still though, Fleets are my favorite pair of the four I've owned, they're (FATS Styles are) great shoes for tricks, and I'm sure the Mega/Big Deuce's will help even more with tricks.

I'll be making a video soon of some of my tricks, any ideas for music from anyone?

I don't have any good heelys like Fleets or Torches or Evolutions, I just halve the brown and white pair of venturas. I screwed up my wheels, how? I'll never know but I just went to heel one day then my right wheel acted as if my bearings were rusted, I soaked them in WD-40 then tried them, I rolled for about 10 seconds then they got screwed up and they make this really loud squeaky noise.
