I just wanted everyone's input on the best heely wheels. In my opinion big duece are best for everything other than skateparks. I have evolutions and I use big duece for all my outdoor heeling and use Mega for skatparks. I owned the slide which use fats, and don't think they compare to these other two. Just wondering your opinions on wheels.
Thanks,
HEELY HAILEY |

Actually the worst wheels are the Originals (Fats were made as an improvement on those!), but they don't even sell styles with those anymore. |

They don't sell the ones with the Originals anymore? Or is it the Fats? |

The Originals are the ones they don't sell anymore. Most styles have Fats (including the new Reflex), but a lot of the new ones are being made with Megas and Big Deuces. |

Big Deuces. There might be some Fats fanboys out there who will argue with me on this point, but the pebble-skipping ability combined with the increased size (easier to get over cracks, easier to land on) is worth it. It might be harder to do some spinny tricks, seeing as how you're on two surfaces and not a central one, but the advantages are decisively worth it. |

They are hard to find in stores.
Try here.
Be careful, though- Big Deuces won't fit in anything but styles that had Mega or Big Deuce wheels in them. Your Atomics have Fats, so you're not going to be able to put anything but Fats in them as they simply won't fit. (And no, there is no "Little Deuce" wheel type.) |

Big Deuce are the best for roads since they can have pebbles.
Mega are the best for ramps.
FATs are the best for shopping malls (since they're the lowest and hardest to spot). |

I have some custom wheels that Heelys sent me. Their just like the Megas but they're purple and much harder than the regular wheels.
I like harder wheels .. goes faster.
But for most people, the softer wheel feel nicer to ride. |

Yeah, the surface of the Mega is too big to draw pebbles into when you're not dragging the wheel well a millimeter from the ground. You can still bump over the pebbles, though.
And I'm going to guess that the lack of surface area on Big Deuce is what makes it need such softness- it'd wear down a lot faster if it was harder, wouldn't it? Or is the different material entirely for ride smoothness? I'd like a harder wheel myself but I know I'll get pebbled where I live if I switch to Megas. (They won't even let Heelys into the indoor skate parks here.)
I do wonder if there isn't some sort of compromise that can be made, though...
