I was going to try to ask a long series of numerical questions trying to get answers of how many people Heel, but the answers would be subjective anyway, so I'll just ask these questions:

About what percentage of kids, teens, and adults in your school/neighborhood/whatever have Heelys?

About what percentage actually USE them wheels-in?

(How much of that is based on your personal influence?)

I'm trying to paint some kind of national picture of the way things actually are.

For my area, I haven't seen *ANYONE* close to my age wearing them, no teenagers, and a handful of kids. I'll wager that maybe 5% of kids here own a pair, and 1% of them wear them wheels-in.

Holy poopskins... they're everywhere around here on yutes 12 and unda, sparce on the 13-18 set, and I know of about 6 peeps now (mainly thanx to me) that are over 18 and use em. I hardly ever see them without wheels om anyone.

everyone that has em here, uses them

kids= 60%
teens= 25%
adults= 15%

No adults

Teens are only if I got them into it except this one time at Walmart at 3 in the morning; Only 2 of the 7 or 8 I got to buy Heelys still actually use them

Kids are very few being that I actually work at Laser Quest and see countless kids from this area a week and I dont even see one kid with them each week

From what I've seen, people exaggerate the popularity of Heelys quite a bit.

The only two people I know are my friends down the street who go to the skate park with me. One is 12 and one is 13, they both sucked at heelys, and now they skateboard instead =P

No one else does it.....so I'm locally known as heelyman XD

I know 0 adults, 8 kids, and about 2 teenagers that use them with the wheels.

I've seen 5 10-13 year olds have real Heelys, 2 10 and under, both fake ones, all use wheel in.

about 70% of kids have them, about 5% of teens have them, and I've only ever seen 1 over 18 with them, and thats my friends brother. 99% of people have the wheels in.

Just got a message from a friend in MA (she use to live local to me) who just picked up a pair. She's 24, very atheletic, and has always wanted some but didn't know they were OK to wear over the age of 12. I guess letting peeps know 1 by 1 will be the only way to spread the word to the old folks.
