| When I was at the skatepark yesterday, I would drop in and then I wouldn't make it all the way up the other side (I would be a few inches under), any tips on maintaining speed for vert...or vert tips in general |

Make sure you don't break AT ALL.
TEC grinds down its breaks on the lead foot. This helps a lot.
Learn to pump - bend your knees as you drop in and extend them as you pass the transition.
Use MegaWheel - never FATs.

I apologize - let me clarify.
We wear down the front heel brake a LOT so it doesn't accidently catch while going down on vert.
This is important because you don't want to brake - um .. ever.

What about a really small ramp?  I may be going to a skate park for my first time tommorow and it just so happens my Megas busted about 2 hours ago so I'm stuck with Fats. |

There alot smaller so there harder to balance on and stuff. You can use fats on ANY ramp, its just definately not reccomended because its so much harder |

Oh I see.
Well I've decided to just go to the arcade next to the skate park today since I dont have megas now. I'm probably not really ready for it anyway. I need to work on manuals and the one foot spin thing. And maybe some stalls on low objects. |
