Heelychat, the forum for heelys, the shoes with wheels - View topic

I came across a story i wrote in March this year for school...i ended up loosing it and having to re-write the story.

Here it is;

My name is Emily ____ ______. Heelys are incredible shoes invented my a man named Roger Adams. Heelys do not come in sizes larger than mens 12, so the inventor decided to make Shaquille O'Neal a customized pair (Size 22). I researches the topic and found it really cool...i wanted a pair.
I has needed some new shoes anyway, so my mom took me to the mall. We went to a stand in the mall that appeared to be sellin "Heelees". They were pretty convincing. But it didnt work-every style was ugly, and thats a good thing because I would've been Heely free. Then, I went to Journeys and fell in love with a pair of white, brown, and pink Razzles. It was a Journeys exclusive, so i wasn't going to be able to find them anywhere else. I had to have these. I begged my mom for about thirty minutes and she finally caved. I threw off my smelly old DC shoes and put on the Heelys, they felt warm and cozy. Mt mom said I could only get them if I did the dishes for the rest of the month (it was 2-3-07), I proudly said "Yeah mom, anything for these Heelys".
After purchasing my Heelys my family and I drove home. Heelys where hard to get the hang of at first....but after what seemed like ten minutes-i was cruising. I started off by going onto youtube.com and looking up some tricks. There where tutorials by a guy named Seth1230 and those helped A LOT. I came accross his 180 tutorial, it looked cool...yet easy to learn. I practiced, practiced, practiced. Two days later I GOT IT. I was becoming real good...really fast (even my parents thought so).
Just a few days later I had already learned how to heel backwards, 180, 360, and somewhat crabwalk. I searched on google....and Heelychat.com came up. I clicked on it and i thought i was in heaven. I quickly made a username and called myself "HeelyGirl". I logged on and started using what we call the SB, or ShoutBox. I met a 14 year old boy named Seth. *sorry if thats wrong seth, couldnt remember your age XD*It was funny-he was the same boy from the Heely videos i had been watching on youtube...what a small world.
There are times when all I ever think about are Heelys. Even my friends *called* call me Heely Girl. I have tested many stores, to see which ones allow heeling. Some stores have signs that say "No Heelys" but, it makes me mad. It makes other people mad too because their a 60-100 dollar pair of shoes and you want to be able yo get your moneys worth. That is the story of how i got my first pair of Heelys.

come on, i wanna send this to the local town newspaper/magazine thing

i voted yes so you should try to send it to newspaper maybe more parents will buy their kids a pair of heelys bcuz theyll never have to do dishes again xD! Very Happy
