Yah.
I just hit a rock in a parking lot and chewed up my elbow and hands... w00t! Scrapes rock!
Of course, my parents freaked out, and now are saying pads 100% of the time... IMO Helmet on tile, pads @ the park, and pads on things w/ rocks (eg. parking lots), but meh.
List of injuries:
1. Right elbow scrape
2. Right heel-of-hand scrape
3. Right side of hand scrape
4. Left knuckes scrape
5. Left pinkie/ring finger sprain (not bad)
6. Right knee scrape (top part, not kneeling part)
7. Left leg random scratches and bruises from keys & whatnot in pocket.
8. Left shoulder scrape/twist
Resuits...
1. Gauze wrap from hospital, and blackish-looking scab
2. Another gauze wrap from hospital, open sore thingy
3. Meh
4. Constant reminder of pad absence...
5. Useless splint from hospital, typing is difficult, carrying things worse
6. Pants hurt
7. Meh
8. It's sore, because...
For all this I got a Tetanus shot!!! w00t!
Anyone else have a similar experience? |
