It's a C/B radio antenna actually. Like whats thes truckers gots.
It's a daily for sure. It really shouldn't be lol, the project should never be a DD but hey whatever.
Never been on a dyno, just been tuning by the seat of my pants. I know what it makes on paper though, and by what I've matched up on the street with. |

How do you know about 4ws?? Your not actually familiar with this car are you? No one knows about mx6's. But anyway lol, the 4ws swap is next to impossible, take a lot of fab work.
C/B is for the street, ans when I go off road or whatever really. It's a handy thing to have, a lot of friends around me have one so..
To answer the fwd drift question, yes I can, on the road, wet, and on dirt. But I really only stick to the dirt. My recent fun is making a rally car-off road sneaker.
The car weighs very, VERY little. So once it breaks loose on a tight corner, it just snaps right back.
My dads 98 izuzu trooper 4wd, THAT beast can drift. Nothing like a 32'' all-terrain tire on a wet corner. |

quick peek on the specs at wikipedia, and I've seen other cars with 4ws before.
so you're putting out around 150hp? doesn't seem like much in my head.
What does 12 valve mean? (block cover)
and my car's lighter: 2,425 lb |

Your right if your actually going off wiki, but you know nothing about my car .
N/A block (higher comp pistons than GT block), GT turbo, GT injectors, dual valve springs, port & polish....
I'm not ganna list the whole build here but suffice to say, On paper I should have around 190-210HP, and more importantly, around 250-270TQ.
12v F2 turbo motor is all about the torque, which is more important that HP anyway, but yeah.
2,425lbs? Yeah I'm lighter I think. I should be between 2,200 and 2,400. |

Haha that sounds a bit more impressive. wiki says stock gt turbo is only 145hp and weighs 2800. Did you gut it? How much did the build cost you?
suspension upgrades? (I see a strut tower tie bar, is it supporting your [custom?] sri? lol) |

Literally everything you need to know, (and more), is in my sig link to the build. I could copy and paste everything but you know..
To explain a little though: The car is a DX, with the non-turbo engine and trans. N/A pistons are higher comp than GT, when you turbocharge the non-turbo, you get around 175hp, and with supporting mods, the number goes much higher. The TQ the motor puts out is more impressive though.
Build cost is tough to say, I never kept track, and I'm poor as FCK. So I can't really say, I assure you it's low. I take low budget to a new low, as you might be able to tell.
The most expensive things are the stuff I couldn't skimp on or negotiate the price: (clutch kit and valve springs)
What about you though? Clearly you know something about this kind of thing hehe.. |

Since I needed to get one, I decided it'd be good to learn as much as I could about cars. |

do you have any cool offroad videos? I've never tried offroad racing (been on ATV/dirt bikes/4wd SUVs adventures though)
As for my daily, she's a 2002 celica 1.8L i4.
Upgraded pistons, honed cylinders.
Iridium sparkplugs.
Custom sri and exhaust.
Hi-flow cat.
Front strut bar and beefy rear sways/antiroll bar.
adjustable agx kyb struts and shocks.
Tein stechs spring suspension.
Catching ~ 37mpg highway (though gas is near five bucks a gallon here in the bay right now ) |
