I see little activity on Heelychat
I see precious few people of any age waering them around anymore.
90% of retail stores that use to carry them don't anymore.
70% of internet retailers that use to carry them either don't anymore or are closing out their remaining old inventory.
If you need some Mega Grinds, I'm selling some in Commerce.
There's also some in "Stores".
Better get them now if you still love to Heely.
Mega Grinds are not likely to come back...
Perhaps not any Mega-wheeled models.
Check ebay too for your favorites.
This is a good time to sell too...before nobody wants them!

I have a stockpile of size 8 Rumbles, because they are my favorites! It seems to me most things have an ebb and flood. Maybe like the tides heelys will have a resurgance eventually!

Only in America.

Youtubing Heelys reveals a lot of European videos, many in languages I don't speak. Sad

The Store has sz 9 9116 Torches for sale
I also have sz 9 9116 Torches for sale.
I also have sz 8 9092 Evos with Mega wheels for sale.
Don't wait too long...
When they're gone, there may not be any more.

Anyone else shouldn't wait either.

I've said this all before. The 757 (hampton roads/seva area) has no sign of heelys ANYWHERE!! We put up Lo's old 'blue-flame' torches and Ev's Evos on eBay > someone bought and paid for the Evos QUICK and the winner of the Torches never paid WHICH BRINGS ME to the part of the story that made me LOL >> a schoolmate of Ev's (with wee lil' feet) just grew out of his sz1 Atomics SO we're giving him the Torches to spread the love. They went looking EVERYWHERE and came up empty handed. Some people just aren't going to buy items such as shoes on the interwebz. They say it's hard to get a proper fit (I told em to jam his little foot through the screen and they would do an online virtual trial fit but they didn't believe me! Lol). SO.... we hooked another local yute on 'serious' heeling (gonna get him on the 1/4 soon as the weather breaks) and Ev finally decided on his kicks (Glow Ninjas). If it weren't for HSL's 'gotta keep a squeeky clean rep' ideals, this sport may have gone hard-core long ago and may have outlasted the 'fad' curse. Look at SOAPS. They are very hard to find now-a-days, but the shoes don't have a 'for kids only' rep. It's now a cult shoe and will survive for that soul reason. (I said soul!! Haha) I know a few older peeps that say they would be embarrassed to let their kids wear Heelys because of the stigma they carry. I tell em LET THE KID ROLL!!! Logan even gets a little grief from schoolmates when he wears his to school... till they see what he can do! (then they shut up and ask him where he learned to sk8). I'm sure he too will graduate into boarding or inlining (or BMXing if it's up to me!!). Anyway... I'm rambling. But I can say that death of this sport is imminent. Blame it on HSL, blame it on media, blame it on public safety advocates... but be happy knowing that you all did your part in keeping the sport alive this long and keep on keepin on till the last pairs of Megas are worn down to the bearings!!!!

VIVA LA HEELYS!!!!

:edit: Just wanted to add that you guys shouldn't deem Heelys dead until you absolutely have exhausted all traces of useable shoes/wheels. Never say die! You never know what could possibly be coming out of the woodworks from HSL. The future may look bleak now, but it could all be quickly turned around with a new lineup or new strategy. BUCK UP LITTLE CAMPERS!!

i think that the only way they can get out of this hole is get bought out by a big shoe company like Nike or someone.

whenever i wear mine, people go 'you are the only freshmen i would not trip for wearing those' because im actually decent. it makes me feel gewdddd.

Wiz: Sketchers has made the offer, years ago when the stock price was $5. And HLYS, foolish as they were, decided not to follow up on it. And still won't. God only knows why.

The CEO's MIA, marketing is nigh-absent, the shareholders are wondering what the hell's going on, and the only people left are us in the bunker that has become Heelychat.

It's like the whole thing quietly died, except for the fans still carrying the torch (<-- wordplay there lol) and the Europeans/Japanese, where it's enjoying steady recognition despite the lack of support from the US side of things.

I'm pretty sure Heelys' patents expire in 2017, so if this hasn't revived by then, it's time to get Sketchers or somebody else to start making them. And yes, I will be here, Heeling, in 2017.

Skechers, in my area, is actually carrying the Grind-n-Roll and Megawatt.
Also, I see that Skechers stock has totally recovered it's value from its 2007 high. Also, they seem to know how to advertise. With the success of their novel Shape-ups, they would seem to be a good company to buy Heelys. Hopefully Heelys will wake up before they totally destroy the product.

Sketchers could pull them out of this! They're way better than Disney or someone buying them out. ( still shivers in thought of princess/cinderella heelys ).

How about Winnie the Pooh or Hello Kitty Heelys? (I can't find them anymore, but they really do exist in Japan and I've seen the pics.)
